I install remote starters for a living and have pu several in Apex's with no probs. Ive got a autostart as1221 in my Attak with no probs at all.
rxworrior, I will be putting one in my sled this summer, I was going to make it so it would not work unless the park brake was applied, is that what you did for safety?
also, do you deal in the kits to go with. I have to put one in our recent(not new cause I'm cheap) van. 2001 crysler t and c. I am looking for any kits that bypass the factory security and also I believe this has the 1 wire style locks. Let me know what you have or if you can point me to a good web site to deal with.
A starter on a sled will be easy, no laying under the dash on your head.

Here is the site I used:
http://www.autoalarmpro.com/bypass_kits
I bought the remote start from them as well. The bypass kit worked perfectly so it may be an option for you. This was on an 03 Altima. I also talked to the guy a couple times with questions and he was pretty sharp.

I put a DEI alarm/remote starter combo in my '07 Attak last fall, before the riding season. No problems with it thus far and was a pretty straight-forward install (for the most part).
