rented a phazer..... not happy...long read..

I'm not following the "fan" scenario.

I can see this would help with cooling. But does it do anything for the icing issue? Or does it not matter if there're blocks of ice that you tote around (extra weight)?

My Attak and another friends Attak both had the overheat light come on in frigid temps because of an "ice clot" between the drivers and the front exchanger. This isn't an isolated Phazer problem. I simply tipped the sled on its side; used a stick and poked at the snow/ice until it dropped out. It's also not coolant mix related as my Attak has 60/40 which was changed by me.

Don't forget we operate these sleds in some extreme conditions while really hammering on them at times. Is there a perfect machine?

not saying i want a perfect machine but i expected better out of yamaha than having to tip sled over every 11 miles to clear out ice buildup from front of track to prevent overheating....thats all im saying....sled rocked otherwise...

yamaha is better than what they are giving us with this phazer and the icing issue....they can do better....
