Replacement upper guide wheels

Tried the AC wheels today, they fit well , you just have to face them with the clips out and put a washer on the insde of your spring adjusters so they clear the fatter wheels. Oh and slot one of the holes in the wheel so you can get the shock bolt out easier.

Awesome! Great pics and report. Glad they worked out well. Sure look alot tougher but time will tell

Silly question but.......,could you please elaborate on the excell wheels?

Thank you for the replies!
Quick off topic question.
My 07 FX has the updated rear H bar and center shock linkage. I'm getting ready to send my shocks out to Monster for re-valve. On the bottom of the center shock there is what looks like aluminum block on the outside of the inner wheels.
How do I get these off so I can remove the wheels and then the shock?
It look like they have two small set screws in them but I can't get them to move.

a small amount of heat or impact driver might be nessasary to get them out. i know the ones like that on my apex are a bugger to get off and it is fairly new.

If it has never been taken off, I would suggest putting some heat on the set screw and penetrating oil before attempting. I've had several stuck in there and had to use extreme measures to get that block off. One time I used a press. The set screw will marr the bar and will need to be filed. Then grind down the set screw inside the block, drill and tap for a new set screw. It can be a real PITA. Using stainless steel set screws or bolts should help with future removals.

Thanx, again for all the reply.
I had an O-$hit last night so its now in the hands of one of our machinists and on the mill.
Im just going to have him hog out both ends and retap.

where can I find the bearings for the upper wheels? I managed to find the rubber ones at royal distributing
