So I have had problems with mega float and Yamaha
Won't replace it so I want to change to something else
Anybody have any ideas?
Was thinking of zx2 but don't think they make a 128

My $.02 is to keep the Mono skid. Find a good used Ohlins shock for the Mono and have it revalved for how you ride. If your a big guy, make sure you have the appropriate spring for your weight. The other option was the KYB version.

There are lots of shocks for sale right now that will fit into your Mono suspension out there from guys parting out sleds and who want to try out the Megafloat shock. Look around.

Or else just chalk it up to shitty luck and buy another Megafloat. Sometimes bad luck strikes and the Megafloat may just be a great shock. Heck, you're the only guy who's had one crap out, at least who'll talk about it.

call Randy karpick at fox he can help you out. yamaha went cheap-po on the set up

So you bought the shock thru yamaha, installed it,into an older sled, like i want to do,and you had what kind of problems with it,if your skid came as a gt dont you still have the ohlins electric shock? Did the mega float fall apart,or blow out seals or something??

there is always a penski shock from bender as well
I have a very low mileage ohlins, skid had under a 1000 miles on it, maybe less since it still had factory wheels and skid hadn't been greased and wasn't worn on any shafts.

Homeplaya, didn't you buy an SE this year. 2,300kms on mine and no issues yet! Think you just had some bad luck. As stated above, lots of people switching out for the Mega Float and I'm sure there will be many for sale. Make sure to have it re-built if lots of miles. Good Luck...

They have a killer deal on the air m-10 with on the fly adjustments, and dual tek air fronts for around 2400 total.
