That's cool that your the owner but what's wrong with posting threads. I don't know if it will get replies but I'm just guessing it won't

Trust me, I renamed the thread and you will be fine.. all the concerns you have on your Viper have all been addressed many times in the Viper Section. Do some searches and you will see. I have 2 Vipers myself, 5000 miles on my boosted and 4400 on my NA Viper.. zero problems other then a chain-case failure due to a bad chain tension spec...

What kind of turbo do you have and when did your chain case failure happen

just got my 2014 Yamaha viper XTX. Coming from a pro rmk it's definitely harder to sidehill and boondock. Not a fan of not being able to start it when tipped over. Got it for trail/off trail. Kinda scared driving it from all the issues people have with it. When I just went to park from driving it the oil light came on and it wouldn't start it just cranked. Hope it starts tomorrow cause I'm kinda scared right now of having oil and different issues. I'm also thinking of putting a turbo on it. Will it be non reliable with the turbo cause I don't want issues? Thanks!!!

I would install the Roll Over Valve on a Viper if its going to be upside down a lot. I can help you find guy that sells them.

I had a MPI trail kit for about 3500 miles then I bumped to the 12psi kit with head gasket change (235hp range) ... very reliable and pretty darn fast. When the chaincase failed it was under 1000 miles on it. I was cranking on it like a Yamaha chain case and the spec in my owners manual said finger tight 1/4 turn out and then the new spec was finger tight and 1 1/2 turns out.. was yanking on the chain and destroyed the bearing.
