Hay guys,
Currently have 2008 Phazer. Have a riser block on it currently but can tighten the bolts down all the way cause they hit the bracket support. What are the pivot block options for this sled.

Lake Effect is definitely the way to go. I got the 2.5" pivot one in silver and love it.

I was hoping there was one that fit on the bottom, so I could run a whole different riser and could do away with the stock. I tried the powermadd one , but I could not tighten the bolts all the down cause the heads hit the supports . So I can run a riser straight up and down..Here are pictures of a 2.5" Lake Effects pivot riser on my 09' Phazer RTX. You do need to re-route some cables on and around the handle bars and riser. Easy to do. G.B.View attachment 100617

I'm trying to picture what part of your current setup is keeping you from being able to tighten it up all the way. Any chance you can post a picture?

I went cheap and installed a PowerMadd 325 2" PowerRiser.
I did the same thing. The powermadd works great and lets you get the handlebars a bit more forward. I thought about putting it on the bottom, but changing the location of the stock riser throws your windshield off to. So if you have a windshield, you don't want to change the stock location.
If you are going without the windshield, then your options are wide open. I was not able to remove my windshield bracket, as the dealer that assembled it used some crazy threadlocker that busted two allen wrench tips off on. So the stock windshield and riser position will stay. I have used the same pivot adapter on the Apex, and it too worked well there.

Just want to double check this with everyone....I put on the 2.5 inch lake effect riser today on my 2014 XTX. I had to remove the windshield and cut the top cable tie to get enough slack...at least I hope it is enough slack. Can someone confirm this for me? Any draw backs to the removing the windshield...did not seem to be any way to make the cables long enough with it in place. Seems so small, I doubt it does much to block the wind.
Thoughts?

The cables and windshield should have nothing to do with each other. They will route down the riser with or without the windshield.
Did you put the 2.5" on top or bottom of the stocker? Pics would help. You may think it is small but the windshield does help.

It is the pivot riser ...so it will only go on the top The windshield mount makes a huge difference on where the cables go. I would be happy to post pics...is there a thread with instructions on how to do that?

Do that, because even in the photos above of their riser install, you can see that once the throttle cable is run under the bar, nothing from the windshield is an issue. You can run the cables down the middle of the mount, or down the side. It makes no difference if you have the windshield on or not.
If someone cable tied your brake lines or throttle cable to the windshield mount, then they setup your sled wrong. The windshield and handlebars are one of the things the dealer does setup. I know this as my dealer back in 2006 installed my windshield bracket upside down. It made no difference other than it was 1/4" taller and I cannot use the cool Yamaha windshield bag, as there is a bar in the way.
Post up the pics and we will take a look.
