Hopefully the pic works. Looks like the freeze thaw piped the rivets on the front of skid and aloud it to bend under.
Still happy with the skid plate way better then anything on the mark

Thank you. Photo bucket and my iPhone were about to get smashed.
Yes it was the freeze thaw that pulled the rivets out. Didn't ht nothing just once the supports were gone it slowly works itself around made a crazy noise on hard pack that went away In the powder.
I have it bent back now it didn't crack. Debating about makin it into a shorty because it folded right in the perfect spot.
If not going to upgrade rivets to bolts and run it again

Get the shorty plate if you cant store your sled in a heated garage

I do love the full skid plate for its full length protection. But we all run the shorty up here since we're not normally hitting stuff and it allows the snow to fall through. OFT Racing does have them in stock as well. Sorry to hear you had a problem, all the Mountaintech plates are a incredible product.

I have a skins one. same thing seems to happen. When I had my sub frame out changing the starter I welded a few nuts on the other side of the holes. Put a 5/16" bolt up through it with a few washers.. never happened yet (yn)
