Watch out for the LAW, its gotten worse every year. We ride up there allot, put on around 1000 miles in that area this year and DNR and Sherrifs all over the place. Had some friends that live up there and they were stoped 7 times in 40 miles. We love the trails but have avoided the lake like the plage, kinda sucks cuz we like to stay on the lake at night and visit the Chief. This will be the first time in about 8-10 years we will not be doing the roast, for some reason they moved it back a week later and the conditions on the trails are poor by this time of the year, I think they will be better then last year though. I hope they can keep the trailers out of the lake this year!

Yes my only beef is the cops, this was our favorite area and last time they had a sheriff pulled over on teh lake with the hood open and when you stopped to help he was dishing out dui's, tickets, etc. Too shady! I'm all for safe trails but that is a little over the edge. Its easy to see the guys that are trouble and unsafe and leave the responsible drinkers alone!

YUP, seen that one a few years ago. Last year they sat by the Loon and pulled my buddie over for riding to close to them.......THEY were parked too close to the stick trail, we were on the trail and going 35mph. All the bars are very upset about this type of crap, buddies dad lives in Grand View and said he gets herrased everytime he takes his grandkids out fishing by OtterBay, same lady DNR....he lets em have it and they stae they are only doing thier job......pure crap.

It's brobaly the dnr ladt that is origanaly from here.She is a stickler bad even if it'an honest mistake.Well she got caught on a deer cam that she was un aware of.She dumped bait on this guy's pile and tried getting him for overbating.After that inncedent she got move dout of outagamie county.I can't believe they didn't take her job away.

we'll be up again gotta crash at Telemark across the road...just remeber that the DNR last year were on Phazers too .. not too comcerned lol theyre more worried about us lining up and running the 15-20 sled wide across the lake on the trail instead of off on the side by the radar ..Cant wait though always a blast

Well guys decided against going. Last year sucked and the temps arent looking any better. Maybe next year.

Stop for BOTH stop signs if you go to the Pioneer. Not a rolling stop. If you don't it will cost you $175 and you will get to blow into a nice little tube thingy. Been there, done that, this year. All they got out of me was the $175 but they transported the entire group of four ahead of us and left their sleds on the trail!! Wasted about an hour for rolling through a sign on a driveway where the guy isn't even a winter resident! Sorry for my rant. Be careful.

They have been poching that for years, yep allways stop solid around the lake.
