Let my wife ride my xf 7000 today and she rolled it down an embankment, it spent about 10 minutes upside down. We flipped it over with my tow strap and pulled it out with a truck that came by.

Sled fired up but oil light was on. Shut it off and let it sit for a few minutes. There was oil in the sight glass so I fired it up again. The light was on for a few seconds then went out. Everything seemed fine and she didn't get hurt. No damage as far as I can tell. Is there anything I should be checking on it engine wise?

Just make sure oil is at correct level. Checkball worked in your case. Is your wife okay?

She's fine. Scared her a bit, she was smart enough to jump off. We were road running a section of trail and her ski just ran off the road a bit and over it went. I will check chaincase. Didn't realize the fluid could get out of there. Thanks!

It shouldnt but being totally upside down it could come out the vent if checkball doesnt stop it. Glad it all turned out okay. Hope she got right back on.

Tell her there's x amount of damage that needs fixed and start ordering bling. LOL

Haha good idea. She wanted back on her ski doo. It's an older zx chassis but she likes it. She finds mine "tippy"... lol

If you ever tip over a viper or 7000. To get the oil pump to prime right away, tip the sled to the left and start. if it continues to shut off after a few seconds....you can start it and rev the engine a little bit....off and on the throttle. (Be aware, too much will lurch the sled forward).
