You would think that the Vector would have a deeper tone to it because the cylinders are bigger.
I personally like the sound of RX-1s with turbos the best.
They have the snarl that all RX-1s have, but they also have the whine of a turbo.
Tork, I like your car references however I would disagree about sound of a Yammie 2-stroke. I think they sound more like big V8s.
I would say that Poo/Doo/Cat sound more like Ferraris with the more high-pitched sounding big twins.
I think all sleds sound nice, even lil fan-cooled 340s. I used to love how my Phazer sounded when it hit 6,000 rpm and the reeds opened. *BRAAAAAP*

Sounds like my rx-warrior muffled a little more. Has a nice sound and is very quiet. My mom loves it

Are the pistons bigger or does it make up the difference with the longer stroke?

UM I think it is both. At 8600 aprox RPM you can get away with a longer stroke.

exhaust sound
Yeah, has a bigger bore and longer stroke to end up with almost the same cubes.
My vote for the best time to listen to the exhaust is at a good clip across the flat field, turn your head and listen behind you. Sweet sound!
(watch out...going into a trance in this situation could prove harmful)
