The 05 RS Venture is due for exhaust donuts. While I have this all apart is there anything else I should be looking for? I’m aware of the Jack-Shaft concerns, which are addressed twice a year. The engine oil, filter and chain lube will also be changed along with the slides (hyfax) and dullies. Any advice will be appreciated. :4STroke:

The Venture has 6,980 miles on it without any problems. I was going thru slides until I put on the marginal snow kit from my dealer. The dealer also corrected the CDI/TOR, along with the clutch rattle. Last season I replaced all front suspension bushings and also installed some grease fittings in the arms. A set of fuel shut-offs were also installed. Engine and chain case oil has been changed every 2,000 miles along with cleaning and greasing the jackshaft bearings. I’m very interested in installing a pivot arm safety bracket. All wheel bearings seem to be in good working order. As it stands, I’ll probably do the oil, plugs, chain case oil, coolant, jackshaft bearings and slides for now, unless anything is advised.
