Just got the call, mine is finally done. No word on what it actually fixes. I guess they don't want anyone to know that there was a problem.

Got my LTX done today. For what it is worth. I asked what the fixes were when I got the call and was told possibly to address hot and cold start issues, change oil pressure delay from 5 sec. to 10 sec. plus more. Did not get any info. today.

Had mine done yesterday, hard to tell any performance difference or not without decent snow, but it did seem like it had a little more throttle response.

Some of the guys had the low oil pressure trigger going up very steep hills, so I suspect that is why the delay set to 10 now but just a guess.

On the fence about getting mine done.
I just got my Excell intake system with their cold air duct. Maybe this will help with the hot start issue, we'll see.
I'll ride it this winter. See if the hot start issue is gone.
I checked my fuel line clamp and it is fine. 2900 miles on the sled.

I forgot to mention the fuel line. Dealer said there is a measurement to tell if fitting are done correctly. Mine was out of spec. and appeared to be pulled apart a bit so they changed the whole fuel line.
This morning it was -17/-18 degrees C or about 0 farinheit. took 4 15 sec. to 20 sec. tries to fire up. It fired on 2nd and 3rd tries. Was not really confidence inspiring.

I had mine done yesterday afternoon, it took 45 minutes from the time I pulled into the lot to the time I left. They pulled it out of the trailer, brought it in the shop and were done by the time I picked up some new boots for my son.
I have not had any starting issue (it is new) but it didn't catch right away, after the flash it does start easier/faster than it did before. Like my nytro, you just turn the key and it fires.

Took mine in for flash and fuel line.
They did flash, but said because I took the factory clamp off and put a regular old style on that they would need to replace hose and factory clamp back on.
Hose Backordered 2 weeks.
Huh? Ain't that regular fuel line u can get at any auto store and cut to length?
Said the clamp I put on are known to fall off under pressure such as the fuel line.
They've been using my clamp for forty years on autos.
Their clamp was lose and pulled off when I tugged.
I'm confused.

The first pic is what was on there that I just pulled off and that's what they want to put back on.
I used the unfamous old style worm gear type because that's what I had and never had a problem with them other than biting into the rubber a little.
Mine you couldn't pull off. Factory you could.
I do plan on getting the tool and some of the new style clamps that don't bite into the rubber for future things.
My deal with them was they knew why I was coming there.
Then to tell me they don't have the special hose?????? Have to order. 2 weeks out. After an hour drive there and then back too.
Soo I'm the only guy that bought a viper there? I'm sure they sold lots, so to not have the parts supposedly on hand because a few
out of the lots, they sold were gonna need fixing.
Never liked the dealer, but they are the closest and were willing to match the sale price of a much farther dealer.
So that's the story.

Those are not the clamps on a factory fuel line. Those clamps in above pics are NOT AS GOOD AS STOCK! Do not use them. Stock clamps are called Oetiker clamps and they are the best clamp made. Clamps are not issue. People who put them on are. Let Yamaha fix it CORRECTLY.

Just so you know mine failed the inspection also. It has been on back order for 3weeks now. I will still ride and replace it when it comes in but that is my choice.
