9-1??? I think beyond 80 deg is a sign you need a different spring or helix....

Let's back up to the irishman's problem. First of all, if it's an '06 RTX, it has same gearing as ER. 2007 they geared down with different suspension also. Try to determine if all is stock. We need to know what we're dealing with first to help. A lot of aftermarket clutching pulls like hell, but losses top end. 103 is slow for GPS never mind dream-o-meter. My '07 GT shows 113mph=103GPS. 119mph=108 GPS. 124mph=112GPS. 130mph=117GPS. I've seen 134mph so 103 is definitely slow. Has ANYTHING been changed from stock?

His is a 2009 with the 22T top gear. The fastest I ever saw on my 2007 was 124MPH on the Dream-o-meter. After added extrovert drivers, a Cobra track, and pilot skis that dropped to 116MPH on the D-o-M.

Last night I had my speedo reading 127mph and it still wanted to go more but had to let off.. 06 attak with a stage 2 clutch kit, anti slip drives and airbox mod

It's an 09 and all stock. What I have found is the speedo is only 2 mph off vs gps on this model. 06-08 are 10 mph off once you float over 100. I raced my buddies 07 RTX and he got me off the line. However he said he was reading 110 and mine was @ 103 and for a mile we stayed 3 sled lengths apart. Only thing I did was put a white spring in @3/3 and it made no diffrence in top speed. It does have more mid with the white spring. At this point, I am convinced I need a 24T gear to get where you guys are. 0-100 this thing pulls insane! Just want it all, you guys understand. Ha!

Thats a waste of time and money. A 24 is too tall for that rear skid. It will never pull that gear. In fact, it wont even pull a 23t gear except on glare ice. On snow, the 22t and 23t run almost the same.

That rear skid doesnt transfer. When you are going fast it doesnt tuck into the tunnel like a monoshock.

If I were you I would enjoy the RTX for what it is intended to do. Bang bumps without falling apart while providing unmatched corner to corner acceleration. You can regear it but you will be disappointed. Like I said, mine went 111 gps when new. You are losing some top end somewhere. Track too loose? Maybe a stiff bearing somewhere? Worn belt?

I believe 10,600-10,800 rpm is where you want to be.

Need to drop your rpms down to 10400 ditch the rip saw track and put a cobra on it

Hahahaha, sorry to say but when I had my gps my speedo said 132mph & the gps said 116mph which was 16 mph difference. The faster you go the more out it is. 120 mph is about 105mp gps. I am pretty sure someone will chime in & verify how much those speedos are out.
My Warrior would read 120 on the speedo and 105 on GPS!
