i have an 03 rx 1 with 4400 miles i have 1 cylinder with low compression around 50 lbs any thoughts im thinking a valve job just like to get some input before i tear it down thanks

Were there any problems leading up to the low compression discovery (why was it checked)?

Could be rings, head gasket, scored cylinder, valves etc. You need to tear the engine down to see where the problem lies. We could all take a shot at the dark and guess what your problem is, but you would still need to tear it down to confirm. Let us know what you find.

I had low comp on all four and they were low like that. I had valves done as I had 30% leakage. Found that via leakdown test.
