Mine are pretty bagged out as I ride the trail a bunch.

I found out you cannot rebuild these and the cost to replace them is pretty gosh darn high. Im already puuting the fox float2 in the front with my timbersled a-arm kit but Im wondering what my options for the rear skid shocks are besides buying a new set of stock shocks with springs for $900

As always any help appreciated and you guys rock!

Ya Im a yamaha noob im startin to wonder if they are even bad. They seem soft went they are warm but I guess the dont bottom too much on big bumps.

Anyone know the lifespan on these shocks in the rear skid?

What year of RX-1 are you talking about? 03/04 pro-action or 05 pro-mountain? I am assuming pro-action as the pro-mountain shocks are junk and cheap to replace. I have a like-new rear/rear take off from a 03/04 pro-action if youre looking.

Mine get a bit loagy on warm days too but when it's really cold out she's cocked right up in the air. I tear the #*$&@ out of that machine, like jumping out onto paved roads and what-not, and mine seem fine. I don't know about you guys though, you like to modify everything lol.
