I left my RX1 out overnight, It got down to nothing more than maybe -15, its -10 right now, and I was gonna move it into the garage, well it won't even crank. No clicks, no attempts to turn over absolutely nothing, hooked up a charger to it and the charger shows battery at 100%. So whats the deal? Frozen starter? Oh and I have 0w-40 Royal purple Synthetic in it.

while holding the holding the key in the start position, wiggle all of the wires in battery/sylenoid area and see if it hits.
Your battery can show a reading of 100% and still have a bad cell.

If it makes any difference the previous owner put in a dry cell battery... this one to be exact http://www.ebay.com/itm/Odyssey-PC545-D ... 0924351286
Also it starts perfectly fine in my garage. I was a bit surprised to have it not start this morning. I went back out and it does make 1 click noise and thats it. Not your typical relay clicking but just turn the key and 1 click.

Turn the motor over with the primary to make sure its not stuck. Then add jumper cables and see it it will crank. Hate to ask but the red button was up wasn't it.

Knowing me it definitely could have been the kill switch lol. But I pulled off the airbox, put a heat gun to the relay area, no effect. I then lightly tapped the starter with a rod and hammer and that did the trick, started cranking over. Still had to pull out the big jumper to get it to crank over fast enough to start but it was definitely the starter. I think it may be time for a new battery (stock) and a new starter.

starter is more than likely fine. New battery is a must. I wouldnt replace the starter until new battery is installed and tested in cold conditions first.

Yeah my dad (who is a mechanic said that it probably got some moisture in the starter from the steam and froze. So I agree now that its probably not the starter, but a new battery is necessary
