I was a little apprehensive to come up against the new liter Doo but found myself lined up with one on a nice long lake this past Tuesday. The Z was broken-in (the chip was burned) studded with 144 picks. I have an 04 Warrior no studs, low boost (180hp?) old style front mount MC Xpress turbo, heavy hitters and a taller top gear...The lake had a couple inches of packed snow. The Z hole shot me (studs) and was about 100 feet in front when I started hooking up, caught him within another 600-800 feet and had him by about 10mph on top... we moved off the beaten track onto the softer snow and the difference became quite a bit more.. We traded sleds and had the same result. The Z owner felt his old triple Mach was just as fast on top but the Z seems to accelerate good from 40-90mph. Needless to say, I will be looking forward to some more close encounters with the dark side, very happy with the Warrior!

Hard to believe you didnt completely blow his doors off...
Must have been very thick snow or slush conditions.. Or you were too hard on the throttle off the line..

Welt....read what the man wrote my brotha......
If he was spinnin like a crazy while the Z was accelerating away he's gonna get a pretty good jump on the turbo. Ahhhh....the power of a turbo.....you gotta love it (what other sled would make up a 100' in only another 1/8 mile give or take?)! Also 10+ mph more on top end is huge!

His mach must of been fast becuase up here there is some races going on and stock sleds are just right behind them. A F-7 actually beat one several times from what they were saying.

No studs with a turbo is nuts. I just finished installing my new turbo and firecat skid and couldn't wait to stud it before trying it. Let me tell you, starting and stopping are next to impossible. Ten miles of that was enough. Try stopping from 120 mph without studs. I am now studded with 204 chissels.

Spikes are not the answer. You simply need MORE RUBBER.
I thought the Mach Z only ended up 5-10 Lb's lighter with a gallon of gas & alsost the same weight with a full tank? From what I read, the Z is not a light weight like the Rev's.

I think that'll translate into machz being HEAVIER when gas tank is full.
