Hey guys. Tipped my sidewinder on the side. Now I have a SD_84 code. Engine is surging. How do I reset??

Your throttle cable came out of housing or something like that. 84 is throttle over ride. look it over well fix it and code will go away

Also noticed SD_14 code. Throttle looks good nothing unhooked

Happened to me last year and it surged and ran badly for a while and cleared itself up. Just make sure the throttle is not under tension.

If it tipped on throttle side make sure flipper can float, any snow or ice packed around pin may take out any free play. I've older sleds left out in freezing rain have the pin freeze up and not float and throw TORS.

Talked to a good Yamaha mechanic about some of these codes. They had a sled in the shop with 14 code. Hard to trouble shoot. Turns out the rider likes to ride real close to the sled in front of him.....lots of snow dust.
The air filter was half froze, and sled threw code and lost performance. When filter can't get air it pulls oil into the inter cooler.
Trouble was initially that by the time they got to look at it, the filter was thawed out and problem gone. If you start losing speed, performance when there is lots of snow dust....check your filter.
Rumor??? A fix from Yamaha

Thanks for the help guys. Had the battery unhooked for 15 mins and checking things over it’s cleared itself.
