Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the SDR undertunnel yet. Any input would be appreciated!

Sounds great running across the grass...... getting some snow today so i hope i can get out for a little test run with it finnally. What kind of input are you looking for? Install or just overall thoughts on it.

I guess im looking for overall thoughts on it. How was the install etc. Looks like a good kit form what i can see. Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to put some miles on one thats all.

Heres a link to some pictures of the install, it is a high quality kit. I am super happy with my purchase. Plus it sounds so good.. hoping its not to loud for the DNR folks. Like i said i havent been on snow yet to see if it will be quieter on snow... hopefully tonight, snowin pretty good right now

Put an SDR on my '11 xtx. It was simple to install. It was a tight fit inserting on the header. Sounds great and is not LOUD. Louder than stock but nowhere near that of other aftermarket exhausts. I pasted two different "DNR GENTLEMEN" in the U.P. and they didn't even flinch! Iced up somewhat on the very rear and flap but maybe that was due to the longer tunnel on the xtx. Would be even better on a shorty.

Overall, it is a quality piece and very well built. Tons more storage!!!

Thats great to hear some feedback. As stated in my other threads, I found a bit of icing at the very rear of the sled, mine was more a snow slush mix and never built up like stock. Happy to hear you got it on and got some use.

Put 100 miles on mine around Wakefield, MI last Saturday. It sounds very throaty and I love the sound, but it may be a little on the loud side for some. I noticed some reduced icing in the tunnel. It makes the sled look alot longer. The trails were some of the roughest I have ever riden, and if I could survive that, it will take anything.

Thanks Guys! I'm still undecided on going undertunnel, I do appreciate the input. One thing i will say is i can appreciate what SDR is doing here. Its neat to see how this has evolved. Keep up the good work and keep the reviews coming!!! :4STroke:

I put 500 miles of some rough trail as well with the SDR. No problems and sounds great -- A- arm and subframe--not so well.......the price we must pay for riding a NYTRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, he does have a kit that would enable you to run studs and have the SDR. $$$$ Not quite sure. You should pm Kyle @ SDR and he is very knowledgable and has put many hours on this project.
