Hi guys,
I've sealed some hole with vent screens(side mesh, holes each side of the steering post.)
But some snow keep entering the hood. Seems to enter from the space around the light and the stripes under it.
Anybody have a hint except removing the headlight? i have some pet screen left but i don'T see how to attach it.
What i ave to seal exactly to keep snow out?
thanks.

I've been fighting the same problem. I've take some liquid gasket material(right stuff from permatex even matches) and sealed up the holes in the front end and it helped some. Secondly I took the screens off and cut pieces of pet screen just slightly oversize and clipped everything back into place. Stays put and helps. I'm still getting snow in the front end yet though. I also put some screen over the hole down by the oil tank. Helped there too but still gets snow in and freezes the cover shut.
Those are the steps I took but curious to hear and see what others may have done to help.
Wouldn't be a big deal if it didn't affect steering so much. It fills up the boots around the tie rods and fills up in the bottom and makes it a awful thing to steer.

Yeah the different colour gasket makers make great 'glues'... They are flexible, tough and can be used in a lot of different temp ranges. Been using them for years for different things.

A little Gorilla tape stuck inside around the bumper brackets seemed to make a fair improvement on mine.

Just apply tape inside the nose piece where the flat metal goes through your nose piece.

I used "butyl" tape ( the sticky black tape that Auto Glass companies use to seal windows to vehicles) on the inside panels at the front bumper. Its sticks very well...and comes of easy. Been theor for 3 seasons now and works well. I used black foam around the headlight pod and the fins below it..... Butyl tape to adhere the foam. Made my own vent kits for all othe front end holes and clutch vent aswell. Just used ski doo screens and cut them to shape.....again...butyl tape to stick.
