I have 1 behind the secondary because I didn’t want to run against the snap ring. I have accounted for that. Had to machine mine 2.9mm
Stock clutching?

y60 or ys 60? do you mind telling the springs and weights also?
I have just upped my tune and wondering if the YS60 will work?
STM 60y. Right now I am running 15.5mm rollers. Dalton bronze/black with 5 glide washers, 14 grams heel, 7 grams mid and 4 grams in the tip. Stock helix with EPI purple set to 0-1. Grabs much harder down low with all the heel weight. Went for a ride last night, and dicked around on the lake today. Clutches are running nice and cool. No black marks on the sheaves from the 8JP like I was getting with more tip weight.

Where do you exactly were getting black marks with more tip weight?

So because I am going back to the Yamaha Primary with the 8DN I decided just to double check the Hurricane bar. I mocked the clutches up and found the Hurricane Bar to be spot on with my manual measurements. Check, Check Double check!
Nice work Dave and Hurricane Performance! You have saved many lots of headaches this season with blown belts from bad offsets!

Bottom and middle of the primary sheaves and a bit in the middle of the secondary too.

So back to the title of this thread. My first blown belt since the tool and machined secondary. Nearly 1,000 miles of shear abuse on the belt. At least 20 drag races of 1,000 feet. Long fast trail runs. Mashing through short twisty runs...-22 to 30 temps. All on PT and Max pump 17 tunes. I did so to see what would happen under extreme conditions. So if driven humanely, who knows maybe 1,500 or more which I could live with, compared to what I was getting.
