these pics were in Taylors Fork...Norht Of West about 30-45 minutes...

is incredible snow year!!! and they have more snow predicted for this week!!!

Sweet pics! Is that RMK a 800? My friend has an 08 800 RMK and that thing is just a BLAST to ride, holds the skis up forever and carves like a dream. Makes it hard to decide if I should buy a nitro MTX or stick with polaris and buy a 800 rmk 155.

Yes, It is a dragon 800 155...It is not impressive..I am coming offa dialed in 04 Rev Summit, and it cannot hang with my sled (me riding both)...

He is selling the dragon, so if your buddy wants it make him an offer...

So your saying the poo 800 can't keep up with your stock mtx or your old rev? Wow that's hard to believe. I have ridden an apex, rev XP 800 154, and the 08 polaris 800 155 and the poo surpassed them all in the fun factor. That's just playing in the medows, I have to drive 7 hours if I want to ride in the mountains, so not sure how they compare there.

My buddy already has one, he doesn't need another one. What is your buddy buying now?

I did not say the MTX could outclimb the dragon, but it definitely can outclimb my Rev 800....some of that is the track...longer and taller lugs...

I do not like the Dragon chassis...just a prefernce thing...I had a harder time finding balance points wiht it...and the power delivery on the stock Dragon was not spot on...I am confident that with clutching it would be wayyyyy better, but once again, I just did not find the chassis comfy for me...

the Nytro will not be stock long, in fact is not stock even after day one...and my Nytro will be on a MONSTROUS diet...just under 100lbs. will be coming off it... So, weight wise, it will be VERY close to all the 2strokers...

and with Boost, well the Power2Weight thing will be off the charts!!!! fun factor is awesome on this sled (for me)

OK, well I couldn't comment on the nitro chassie, but I'm in love with the IQ chassie. Handles awesome for me. I also love the 800 motor, my friends seems to have the clutching right. Right now my sled of choice would be the 800 rmk. But then again I'ev never been on a nitro, so I don't know the nitro might be that much better. But i hear it's like a rev? Is it? I hate revs with a passion, lol. Couldn't pay me to ride a rev. What's he gona buy once he sells the rmk?

Nice, your sled should be fun when you get it done! So what are you all doing to it? front end, rear suspention, tunnle, seat what else?

you have never road a Nytro, and you are in a nytro forum on a yamaha site? :P

get on a Nytro, you will love it!!!!

it does not ride like a Rev, is MUCH easier to handle, is easier to lay on its side...does not want to flop on its side like a Rev...is WAY less work to carve with...am not sore the next day from throwing the Rev around (rode my rev for 4 years)

was COMPLETELY comfy riding the Nytro in 2 days...first day was VERY odd...

jumping balance is WAY different...mainly due to 4stroke vs. 2....all you ahve to do for the 4s to tilt down for slope is let off throttle...vs. 2s you have to brake a little...

carving, balance is better, need to swap skis out for true mountain skis though...I put simmons on, and it was MUCH improved...no diving on the front end...

as to what am I doing? too much to list, but lots...

Here is a start

larger gas tank
Timbersled Barkbuster front end (-9 lbs.)
Timbersled Mtn Tamer rear suspension (-38 lbs.
lightweight battery (-10lbs.)
lightweight muffler (-10 lbs.)
Fox Floats on front end (looking for smoking deal) (-6lbs.)
misc. (boggie wheels, foam, junk) etc. (-10+lbs.)
Boost guts a TOn of stuff off it...(-16lbs. net)

etc. etc. etc.
