I am gearing up to set up my ride for two up. Thinking I probably need to change out the standard torsion springs for something heavier?

Cat/Yamaha sells a overload leaf kit. That is definitely the way to go. Plus when not riding double you are back to stock with 2 clicks. Be sure to verify it fits your 137 though.

Thats on a 141 skid right? Could you take some measurements? I will compile a thread showing what this kits all about on the various size skids. Sure is a need for this on all skid lengths. Not just the 146" which its sold for. Suprised Yamaha and Cat hasnt seen that need.

Alsim they also sell a rail reinforcement kit for the Mountain skids such as your 141. Would work perfect for reinforcing the rail right where you have the overload mounted.

Yes it's on a 141 skid. I extended the slot in the leaf with angle to fit to the rail. I relocated the wheels near the front shock in the middle. I shorten the leafs. The leafs are located in the middle of the travel. When it's are up just to avoid bottoming and keep progressive action for better confort in the little bump. I hope you understand my English it's not perfect !

I never seen it ?

Do you think it could be made to work with the 137?

This is on a cat snopro 137' . Did the same modifications . The kit is for the 146' but you could adjust for your type of rail. You could see the differences on list parts between 146 and 137. The major modification is to extend the groove in the leafs.
