Severe Oxidation on Aluminum Parts

Oops, answered my own question. Safe for all surfaces...Just had to skip the intro on that website to read more about this product...and it is sold at SEARS! I just might have to check it out tomorrow since I have a Sears 3 miles from my house.

Is is safe on the plastic parts, too? Spray on and whipe off or is it more of a polish?

Sounds like you need a can of Boeshield T-9, I use that and 3M Rustfighter I. T-9 was developed by Boeing for aircraft...

Try a product called Autosol - This stuff is excellent.

Outstanding metal cleaning product. Restores chrome finish.

It leaves an inviisible coating to protect against oxidation and you'll be shocked by the amount of oxidation it removes. I've had great sucess with this. Good luck
