So do I invest in a pr (or two) of shapers for my tuners or will I be better off looking for some different skis?
It would be cool for you to try it so I don't have to! Have you checked what lengths they offer?

So long as the new tuners use same bars as the old ones I should be good.
o, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9 available. Thinking 6" maybe 7.5" and run the stockers outside.

I liked the original tuners for groomed / set up trails. I think these slightly deeper keels will be even better for trails. The only complaints I hear are deep snow lack of width/float and push in loose snow.
I have a Vector with tuners 6/4 carbides and another with a set of shapers on Curve skis. Both are good on the trail-very close not sure of my preference.
I never ride enough deep snow off trail to give a good evaluation but I think the Curves would be better in the deep.
So I am looking forward to a great trail ski and I would love an aggressive shaper carbide on the inside for me. We're can I get a shaper for the tuners?

I'm primarily on trail looking to deliver predictable performance w/o push. My concern is having enough keel in the loose. Thinking the shaper should help in this regard.
Yes for sure shapers are awesome and definitely help but on my pilots even those were not enough to cure pushing in loose. TD for me it's the $ if I could swing it Curves are a sure thing. Really want to try the new tuner though. I may try narrowing my stance to help the push my pilots have and wait this one out to see how the Tuners work.

Curves or CA Razors?
I can swing it, but I shouldn't...

I have the Curves and shaper bar, pretty BLue on the Blue Vector LTX I like them. Like Cannondale27 hope the new deeper keel tuners are great as well.

I've been running 6" inside 6" outside shaper bars on the tuners, I started with "yamaha" square bar then shaper inside, round outside and I'm extremely happy with shaper 6" inside and out. Turn in is very predictable and bite through the corner is consistent. This is on a Nytro, different sled (totally) but that's my take on the tuners with shaper bars.

I don't see a tuner yamaha option on the shaper bar list. Where can I find them?

The YAM-S2524 series is supposed to be the one.
