Shock eye gusset worn through

I have an 09 Apex gt with a shock rub kit but I have worn through the metal gusset on the suspension arm. Any ideas what to do , cut it off? Bend it back so it doesn't rub on track? Any ideas?

are you talking about the loop f metal that the track rubs on?

Has anyone else had this wear right through?

without the loop but with the anti rub kit will the track hit the shock or anything else ? if not cut it out. if it will weld a chunk of conduit to it.
