I definately need bushings and rear bogie wheels. The orig bogie wheels have a couple slight cracks in them with only 2400miles. Is this normal?
Should I invest in billet wheels? Did the wheels crack because of the worn bushings and movement in the back of the skid?
Should I buy factory bushings or is there a better option?

Is there a preventative fix for this? Welding gussets? Any pics?

I would get the spoke style yamaha wheels, or the x wheels......unless you want to spend extra on some billet bling. The x wheels are about .3 inch bigger diameter for improved hyfax wear. For suspension crack,do the beef up kit and powder coat by welteracer.

They are press fit so you will need a puller.
I was hoping to do mine as well but they surprisingly still spun smooth so I left them.
I have just under 5000 km's on my sled and they are holding up good but I am sure sometime down the road they will need some mtce.

My regular gear puller won't work. The "lips" of the puller are not long enough to reach around the back to solid plastic. It will only grab the rubber which will surely tear/rip it.
Any suggestions?

step 1- put a block of wood over the aluminum shaft and whack it a few times with a big fn hammer. this will drive it right through the pressed on wheel.
step 2 - once one wheel is off remove the shaft with the 2nd wheel still pressed on it. put some blocks of wood under each side of the wheel untill the alum shaft is off the ground then repeat step 1
