Shout out to Excell motorsports

Lets allow this vendors products to be talked about without other Vendors talking over the product that's being discussed in the thread. You can start your own thread if you would like. Let your product sell itself based on your quality and customer service. We also do not need others to discredit the products that are mentioned. Not everyone want to take the risks, let each person make those choice without bias comments.

You can switch your reflashed ecu with another sled if you want to sell it. You can always get some of the money back.

That's a mute point. Once people start breaking motors and being beaten by reflashed sled the value goes way down.

Remember when that exact same device was sold for 1100 turbos what happened? I do.

How much is a hj worth nowadays?

actually ....HJ still bring more money than a ecu flash stuck inside...
and the only thing that gave the tunes more value or interest than a HJ was its loading or senstitivity to fuel..and since this motor is not sensitive to fuel..a fuel adder is very comparable...sure the tune will rule at max levels where timing maps need to be tweaked...but thats not everyone

sure on the old ecu you could trade for another machine without a flash....BUT on this new machine...you could trade also...but your ecu has your VIN encoded..not sure where it could affect you...but yamaha would know its not the original ecu..and since its a new machine...evu's arent out there...and they retail for $1,800.

now personally if i was going to flash...or knew someone who wanted max power...Id recommend TD...

and...Im sure td is working on big injector tunes for those looking for max pump gas power....this is just where Im at right now...simplicity and power with tremendous customer service motivated me here

I know Aaron very well, great guy, great dealer and has always had great product.

Same here, been a customer for over 10 years. He's got my 2016 MPI recall sled almost finished, once we're through this season, I'll be on an '18 Sidewinder, with an Excell kit. The ability to dial the boost up and down just makes a lot of sense.

exactly...you can actually dial down below stock...so questionable fuel..drop below...

Cant wait for results!

A muffler of that design would never fly here in Ontario unfortunately, far far too loud means big tickets here.

Dan

btw passed tug hill check points....but they have a muffler mod for your ONTARIO needs...

All I know is that I have over 1500 miles on mine with Excell's exhaust and dial a boost kit at I couldn't be happier! Have been through a couple of spot checks and spanked several sleds . Now if I could just get rid of the pain in my fingers from hanging on !! Lol Getting old I guess? Oh yeah and still original belt!

So does this add boost? I guess if it does not add boost then it wont leave traces on record in memory of higher boost PSI.

I just assumed it added boost so warranty was same as if you had tune.

How does it make any power at stock boost then? I guess I dont get where the power comes from then.

thnx
Dan

Stage one... Exhaust and fuel.. Stage two both with manual boost controller... Obviously would leave traces... But not flashed.. Depends on what they see... Tables , history... Or both... Might be no difference... Might be better...It's an unknown

Looks good.
I like the idea of the adjustable boost.
I have that on my MCX Apex.
12.9 lbs equate to 230 HP ish?
What is the lowest boost level?
