sidewinder fuel tank

My light came on as I pulled up to the gas pump the other day. Fully burped it took 9.1 gallons.

I ran out in Quebec 4kms from the gas station. Got towed to it. 36 litres to fill it including burping the tank

On our trip this weekend, we had missed our planned stop for fuel and decided to got to the next town. Fuel light had already been on for 10 miles, and when we arrived to the place to get fuel......it was closed! About another 7 miles to the closest town and I feathered the throttle as much as I could and made it to the gas station. Put 9.9 Gallons in so I must have been riding on fumes.

Only about 122 miles. Lots of loose snow conditions from the snowfall the night before.

I always wanted to see how much fuel they held so was a good opportunity to check. I’m never sure on spec I see all different numbers so now I know and I actually put 37 liters before on a fill up but sled never chugged.
