When I look at Yamaha web page there is no two up seat option. Yet when I look on Arctic Cat at the fx 9,000 crosstour there is a seat option. So has anyone purchased a two up seat from Yamaha for thier STX DX 146?

Who are you and what did you do to Charley? Asking a ? About a YAMACAT. LOL
Hope all is well for you.
I can’t answer your question but the SW I rode at the YAMAHA Demo trailer was the most refined sled I have ever been on.
Smooth quiet effortless I was really impressed, but $$$ will keep my family and I on ‘old iron’ for awhile. Oh did I mention scary sneaky FAST.

Im asking about a Catamaha in two different flavours. Reason is I like the Yamaha in black more then the Cat in Black and orange. I think the crosstour is perfect for just that, touring! Aditional 4 gallons of fuel, has a trunk, two up seat option, has a 146 inch track. As Yamaha seems to have left the building a left over 2008 or 07 might strike my fancy and if I hate it I'll sell it to you cause you talked me into it! LOL!

Its weird they don't list a two up for the Sidewinder STX DX 146. So if you wanted one you have to buy it for a different sled. Not a biggy I was sure it would fit just puzzled as to why they do not list one for it, considering it is the touring crossover sled!

I tottally agree. If you do the same research for a passenger seat for a Ltx Dx for example you won’t find it, but you will find the bumper with pockets for the seat. After, you have to go the the Viper to find the seat. No seats under the Sidewinder accessories at all.

I really like my STXDX 141 Viper on the long night trail but it is under powered.Im asking about a Catamaha in two different flavours.
