I think its looks tall to be a medium, could you measure how tall it is from the console? It should be 5,9". And the tall one at Picture 3 should be 11,3" ? If the windshield on Picture 1 is 4" and Yours is the medium at 5,9" ?? Is it possible that you have the tall one?View attachment 122429 The windshield I put on my Sidewinder and my wife's Viper is the medium in picture # 2

Check Mr. Sleds post. Looks like his LTX LE came home with that shield on it.I am looking for this windshield. Does anybody know the part# or have one they replaced with a medium they want to sell? Thanks.

It is 11" on my Sidewinder and 9" on the Viper...I looked at the tall one and it seemed taller the the one I have..either way I'm happy with the one I have because I ride in Northern Maine where it is very cold.I think its looks tall to be a medium, could you measure how tall it is from the console? Hey guys, here's the AC Mid Windshield - Black Part #: 6606-865 next to the SE's windshield for comparison. I like the shape of the Yamaha better, but this AC shield is the ideal height for me. It's several inches above the SE shield but not nearly as big as the Yamaha Mid. The Yamaha SE shield sits a little lower than this pic shows since the AC shield is under it.

the AC mid seems nice but lacks lateral protection IMO

Totally agree. The ideal windshield would be shaped like the SE's but 4" taller. The Yamaha mid is crazy big IMHO.the AC mid seems nice but lacks lateral protection IMO

I had the AC Mid shield on my Viper, and needed hand guards or else my paws were cold.

It doesn't seem like the SE's windshield would be much better for hands. Guess I'll try both this year and see. I WISH there was a better option than the Yamaha mid for more protection.I had the AC Mid shield on my Viper, and needed hand guards or else my paws were cold.

I have run cat mid since 2012. First mod I did to get rid of the cat low one. I agree with monte1214, wind goes over top of head but little hand protection. That's where hand guards come in.

According to PowerMadd these 3 shields fit the ZR9000 so I assume the SW also.
Can't decide if I like or not.

I see some are using some Viper shields. What aspect of some Viper shields prevents them from going on the SW?

I like the power Madd options also and they would look good with the sentinel hand guards but their website isn't clear that they fit the sidewinder or the '17 9000 cats. Seeing as they are viper shields, I don't see how they won't have the same problem with the side tabs as every other viper shield.
