I like the power Madd options also and they would look good with the sentinel hand guards but their website isn't clear that they fit the sidewinder or the '17 9000 cats. Seeing as they are viper shields, I don't see how they won't have the same problem with the side tabs as every other viper shield.

It states on the web page to use those model numbers for 2017 ZR9000
"Will NOT fit 7000 or '17 9000 Series (use 14521, 14530 and 14540)."

But then go to the page with the viper shields and it clearly states it is for the 2016 sleds, says nothing about the sidewinder or the '17 cats.

In my opinion that doesn't look any better than the Yamaha ones. Very disappointed in the lack of availability and decent accessories for such a nice sled. They've had since last March...

Thanks for the PowerMadd pic. Good to see it fits, but I'm not impressed w/it. It totally reminds me of Cera from The Land Before Time LOL

Hey guys, here's the AC Mid Windshield - Black Part #: 6606-865 next to the SE's windshield for comparison. I like the shape of the Yamaha better, but this AC shield is the ideal height for me. It's several inches above the SE shield but not nearly as big as the Yamaha Mid. The Yamaha SE shield sits a little lower than this pic shows since the AC shield is under it.

Had this last year on the cat zr9 and to be it's the best looking reasonable performing option available...with hand guards...New gloves and my cat semi rigid gauntlets for the bitter days if necessary...
I'm extremely disappointed in the shields offered..and the shields that come on the machines...seems like we're really having to work at finding ways to use these machines and spend money with yamaha...
