Oh crap sorry. I was assuming with all the AC shields being installed it would fit.

Going back through the first several pages I think that shield will fit. It says its for the 17 ZR9000. The windshield holes for the ZR7 and 9 are the same based on a pic of each of the three back on page 5.

the 7000 is the yam version of cats ....widshield holes fit....the 9000's are cat...and intentionally dont interchange... if you find a 9000 shield that fits a SW let me know ..

Those powermadd shields poster earlier are specifically ZR9000 windshields. So there ya go

when you say trim the bottom...the little tab that attachs to the hood? and ...do you think without it there will be enough support and/or wont flutter with wind pressure>?


actionjack...just double check....the ones that fit the SW are viper and 7000 shields.....every 9000 shield Ive seen dont.. its the mounting holes in different locations...in fact my 2016 zr9000 was totally different than the sw...

Cool. I may just order and try it. I don't want low, I want a mid. Just can't bring myself to buy Yamaha's mid. Looks too big. I'll use an SE shield if I have to and can find one.

AC mid and Yamaha are the same height(except the mid 11). If you go with a low, mid 11, the 9000 and SW are interchangeable

Whether it's the same height or not I'm not sure but a Yamaha mid is 20" and this says 14". I've seen the Yamaha mid in person and only this AC shield in photos. It sure looks smaller to me. Maybe it just appeals to me more. Won't know I guess until it shows up.

The dimensions are from different points. The mid 20 Yama and mid 14 AC should be very similar, I don't think they will be interchangeable.
