I tried that this year. Didnt go well. No new sled for me! Glad I was able to get my $ back.

I was gonna stay on my '15 LTX=DX for another year, and Spring Order a 2018 (50th Anniversary) of whatever there was.
After having a long discussion with my Dealer, I ended up ordering a SW. (LTX-SE)
He gave me $8300 for mine, and it had 6300kms on it.
He said that if I rolled in there in April and had north of 10,000kms on it (which was very likely) he wouldn't give me anything near $8000 on it.
Now....I'm the proud owner of a SW that I don't have yet because the Tunnel Protectors are on back order until the end of December!?!?!?

I looked at a red and white ltx, I'm in love!! my dealer told me my '15 ltx le vip (only 1600mi)was worth $8800 at best on trade and said I'd be better off taking all the add-ons off and sell them separate,,,, Question 1 is do I dump $5000 into a turbo or spend the dif on a SW? And 2, whats a year old SW gonna be worth with low miles and warranty left? they do say the first year is when you take the biggest loss on the retail of your sled...

I just did the head shim, studs, fourth injector, fuel regulator upgrade, pcv pti to my Viper last year to run 12psi......and then the SW came out. with all the work I've got to keep the Viper another year. Probably for the best, see what they bring out for the 50th

They don't have them either. I'm not too worried yet. There's no snow around here, so I'll wait a few more weeks..
