single ply studs

has anyone used single ply studs on a two ply track on the sidewinder...wondering bout the size of the heads that will be in the track of the idler wheel.....will it hurt the track/wheel and any noise created from this........wanna stud but havin a hard time with this....thanks

Yes,single ply studs I bought from kevin at port Yamaha,he uses them on his stuff to.

I was contemplating this also as the larger diameter of the stud and washer would =more load sharing. I asked the Woody's guy at Novi. He agreed. FYI
