For anyone that has taken apart the skid. What is the trick to getting the high rollers off the torque link.
Is a special wrench needed to get in there?

Use a cold chisel or a large flat screwdriver and hit the inner race of the bearing outward, should pop off quite easily.

Do you undo the two bolts that hold the torque link, so it slides off?

Just tried getting the high rollers off. They are on there! How on earth do they come off without beating the inner race to death from the inside?
At that rate there is no repacking them. The bearings are garbage.

Just be careful. Only hit the inner race. A chisel will not harm the inner race. Go from side to side a little at a time. Once off just clean up any nicks in shaft with file and sand paper.Just tried getting the high rollers off. They are on there! Any pictures of the tool ?
The tool is just a puller that goes around the wheel. It works because it pulls nice and straight but if its on there really tight wheel will break for sure. Also puts stress on the bearing. Other option if just replacing bearing is to remove clip from wheel and just remove wheel leaving bearing on there. Once wheel is off a regular bearing puller can be used to remove the bearing. That's why you always put wheels on with clip to inside.

Sounds like ac made them to fit on pretty tight. Going to try a heat gun to warm the bearing up and hopefully a long chisel or slotted screwdriver will get it to budge. Failing that, take the circlip off, remove wheel, and use a slide hammer puller with the three prongs to drag the bearing off.
For re installation. Does that bearing rest against a ledge on the shaft? Like a Yamaha? Never seen it apart.
