I know this must be very simple: but, I have a couple of questions regarding skid removal along with the seat.
When you loosen off the track and remove the 3 bolts on each side of the tunnel, does the skid just drop down? Is it then simple to pull out? When you put the skid back in, do all the axles line up perfectly or do you have to do something to get them to line up? Any suggestions would definately help.
I also want to remove my seat so that I can get at the two exhaust gaskets. How does the seat get loosened?
Like I said, I feel embarassed about asking.

Welcome to TY where there is a wealth of information.
There's a lot of information in the "TY Tech" section (found at the the top of the page). http://www.totallyamaha.com/snowmobiles ... NSION.html
Microfiches of your sled can be found here: http://www.hlsm.com
These can help you get bolts, washers, spacers in order.
Also, try doing a search here: http://www.ty4stroke.com/search.php
Many issues/questions that you may have most likely have been addressed before. Doing a search first usually will provide the quickest results. This is also near the top of the page.

The absolute best wrenches are those that have learned to ask questions. There is just no way on God's earth you can know everything about everything! Welcome!
