You and I both. Turbo black should be the 2013 Nytro with about 225 HP stock. They'd sell these as fast as they could build them! Could you ever imagine Yamaha going out on a limb and build what we want as consumers?

Love that Polaris upped the game again, with belt drive, very very cool!!!
We need to retrofit this turbo black to a belt drive system, it would shave weight, reduce rotating mass, and be 15-20% more efficient at getting power to the ground.....

If there was a way I'd do it tomorrow. Really like to drop the approach angle a bit too. Wish I lived somewhere I could ride enough to justify the expense. Of course it's not so bad throwing a few bucks at it every season. I put more R&D money in my Nytro than Yamaha corporate does to their entire sled line. 1.75" new track! That's some serious investment. Glad I'm not holding my breath for something new and cool from them.
Keep me updated on the ride. Sitting at home on call waiting for some disaster to wreck my weekend.

15-20% more efficient? Does that mean it is like a turbo and adds power? lol I don't think it is much if any more efficient than the current system. Lighter, yep, less parts, yep, cool looking, yep. More efficient... not by much.. Honestly I think it would be difficult to tell, kind of like installing 8" rear wheels from 7" rear wheels.mtdream said:

As a customer im dissapointed as hell in yamaha, as a dealer I cant even stand them right now.
