Sled dieing after half tank of fuel

Got a buddy’s sled here. It won’t pick up fuel after she’s down around half tank.

I know it must have something to do with the pickups. Just wondering if anyone had this issue before I pull the pump out.

Buddy had that problem. Put new pickups in all good.

not exactly where your at with half a tank but a good read for you. Definitely related to your post IMO

I had AFR's shoot to 17+ occasionally on lower tank levels... Would backfire and spit and sputter at WOT. New fuel pump and never did it again. Might be a batch of bad pumps out there....

For sure and or they get weak with miles.. I had zero issues with lower fuel level knockers and misses until about 8-9 k for mileage. New fuel pump going in tonight or tomorrow. I question the stock fuel pump on tunes. Especially with high mileage and half tank or less. I have the TD pump going in that's rated for higher tunes. Only running powertrail with turbo force muffler. Betting this pump solves my issue with fuel.

I’m sure it will fix your issues. AFR setup can be run for about $120. Well worth the money impo
