So this year I added a few things I have wanted to in awhile. I added a mountain tech front end which I'm very excited to try out. I also added Skinz airframe running boards. These suckers are stout so no more bent running boards. Also I wont have to deal with snow building up on them anymore and the traction feels awesome. I built my own steering relocate so we will see how that effects the ride. I also added a gas can that mounts the same as the rotopax brand. Very nice design. All I'm waiting for is my buddy to finish powder coating my custom rear bumper that I made. Now I'm just waiting for this winter to get moving so I can ride.

I think you will be quite happy. You have dealt with the 3 most important areas needing improvement...,steering post angle, front end geometry, and running boards. It is surprising how many seasons some people will ride before dealing with these issues.

Yeah I'm pretty excited to try everything out. For me its been a money issue. I'm only able to afford a couple mods every year but this sled has really turned into something I'll be happy to ride. I actually got a hell of a deal on the running boards. $250 for brand new boards in the box still.

Good score! My point though was that for an Mtx those 3 improvements were the first main mods anyone should do, and in that order too.

Well I'm glad to have finally had the funds to get those 3 things completed. I'm glad I have the ability to fabricate my own mods too. Good way to save some cash.Good score! My point though was that for an Mtx those 3 improvements were the first main mods anyone should do, and in that order too.

Looks good Im in the exact same boat only I've been riding mine for 5 years now lol. Haven't done anything for accessories or aftermarket goodies. Going on a longer trip this year so trying to get it set up better. Money's always been a little tight so I've always gotten by with what I could too.
I'll likely be getting a mountaintech skid plate we're heading into the Canadian Shield area where it's all rock. Exchange rate and shipping is what's hurting me most right now though. Wish we were closer to par again at the moment.

The rear bag is on both sides and carry gas cans. Its a Yamaha accessory and part number. The rear tunnel bag that you can't see is a Skinz tunnel bag and I have a exhaust turnout to protect the bag. Here what the tunnel bag looks like https://www.denniskirk.com/skinz/tunnel-rack-pak-ytp350-bk.p509236.prd/509236.sku
