CR says according to Official Yamaha testing the XTX is 1.4 faster on top than the 128. They tend to test on hard pack, so too me that means that the XTX skid is more efficient.

The early test riders are reporting that it rides better, and it should hook a lot better out of the hole and be faster on top.

EPS and tipped up rails totally negate the harder to turn theories of Long tracks (which I believe are overblown in most conditions - however when the trail is fresh groomed and frozen - give me EPS - or for those 300+km days which this sled was designed for).

I can't see where the 128 will be better, other than you can get one in black with floats all around.

The only place where the XTX loses is if you have an enclosed trailer and it won't fit.

Please take the Poll options in Jest, responses should be amusing.

Never understood the short tracks. Useless IMO where I ride.

XTX in black SE version thank you.

Specs say 118.1" Long, so it should, but if you need a little extra, put some sort of quick disconnect on the back bolt of the ski loop, disconnect when loading and ski tip should fold up easily then giving you a few extra inches.

I hve a nytro xtx now...maybe its me the se with the floats all around sparks my interest

besides theyve straightened out the rail angle on the shortie so I cant wrap my brain around it being slower still

so, someone would make a decision about buying a sled based on it being .87 mph faster?

that's not even measurable - sorry - if you are cutting it that close you need medication.

Ok, maybe top end is not much of an advantage like it did on the Nytro XTX because for 2011, it seems they made the approach angle on the rails a little straighter on the 128". But, what I would like to know AND I DID ASK FOR THIS INFO FROM CHRIS, is what is the 60 foot times, 300 ft, 660, 1000 and 1320ft times and mph between the 2. I believe their data aquisition system would tell them that.

Will it fit in a Triton 10ft enclosed trailer??????

I have a XT10-101 with a Bearcat lid and an Attak fits in mine just fine. Spec sheet says XTX is exact same overall length at 118.1" so "should" work. I wouldn't mind trying it first though before ponying up 15k+.

I would say yes, a measureable # of people would.

Me I care about the other benefits of the longer skid, better braking, better bridging and less pitching in the rough stuff

Any issues with the XTX skid as far as revalving and heavier springs like the mono is known for- especially for us Full-figured fellas.
