I don't hardly ever back up the sled but if it becomes an issue for me I can trim it if needed.

I've already replaced the flap on the 18 RTX 50th Anniversary Sled. The flap on the 17 LTX SE is starting to get chewed up by the studs. It will eventually need to be replaced

It must hang pretty low that it get suck in when backing up. That's the problem with any snow flap. It's either too short and causes over heating and snow all over everything or it's long and gets sucked into the tunnel when backing up.I've already replaced the flap on the 18 RTX 50th Anniversary Sled. Yep, I need one of those. Seems like everyone’s a mile behind me so they don’t get hit with all the snow this Backcountry throws. Plus it looks like it makes the rear bumper easier to grab on to?

I wish someone would design the system they had on the scoots, attached to the skid. No issues whatsoever.

Ck out the flap on the Lynx Mtn sled ,This is what is needed .Look up 2018 lynx PPS Radian DS suspension .There you''ll see the way to keep snow where it needs to be .I wish someone would design the system they had on the scoots, attached to the skid. No issues whatsoever.

It happens when backing up. So much torque in reverse that it pulls the #*$&@ down into the snow along with the flapIt must hang pretty low that it get suck in when backing up. Sled is sitting on rollers. The snow flap just touches the ground when not on rollers.View attachment 137660
Just to confirm (because I'd like to put a PDP flap on this summer), this is what you ordered? http://provendesignproducts.com/Pages/Snowflap Logo/snowflap_logo_umf.html
How have you liked the flap so far?

That's not it. I don't think its listed on the website. I called them and ordered the 28" race snow flap and strap kit. It is made for the pro cross chassis. They can put whatever print you want on it also.
When backing out of a trailer someone has to hold the flap up. Other than that I usually don't back up. My coolant temp never goes above 174° F. trail riding with this flap.
