These are made by Straightline Performance. 16" version. The holders are sold separately.

Haven't used them yet but heard good things from my customers.

These are Straightline Performance scratchers. The holder is an accessory that they sell for them. I can order all these parts

DranttelSS,
PM me I want a set with holders

Just go buy some 1/4" threaded eyelets. I just installed mine today. I replaced the bolt that holds the rubber bump pad with the threaded eyelet with the eye facing outwards and voila!!! Holder for the scratcher !!!!

True but that is not always an option for cost / time reasons. I am simply providing alternatives..

Never ran scratchers before, just a quick question, when your riding with them do they ever bounce around and make contact with the rails. Would like to mount a set but worry about them contacting the rails and doing damage.

Used these scratchers last weekend, and my sled ran 20degrees cooler than my buddies same sled. These machines really need a small radiator. I heard that changing the coolant also helps, may try that. Does anyone know the procedure for coolant change.

Yes these will beat up your rails I had straight line on my BTX LE and now my rails are all beat up and I ripped the end off one they don't throw enough snow for a 153 trail riding I burned through slides in 400miles and one ripped the end off put factory scratchers back on and slides are good with 1300miles on them 80% trail riding

For those that don't like the cable scratchers ,get the over the top reverseable rail scratchers .Then get a pair of spi idler wheel adpters spi #12550 . .Remove the front idler wheels drill the holes alittle larger ,put the scratcher on the adapter ,then replace the idler wheels .The scratcher will be behind the wheel and you''ll need to bend them alittle .Next get 2 1/4" eye bolts to hold them up when not in use and put a little 1/4" hose on the eye bolts to keep the scratchers from rattleing when not in use

I had mine mounted in exact same spot as you. Be careful, if sled bottoms completely out...the upper idler wheel can make contact with the hook of scratcher. It did on mine and chewed up wheel
