I know i cant wait to ride mine, Last spring I got to ride one for about 2 hours and loved it, I traded my attack on it I loved it so much and it was really hard to get rid of the old attack with 8000 miles on it.

I had a short tracked Nytro last winter.. So I know how they handle.. I'm more concerned on how the long track tracks in the hardpack. Thanks for your comments.

Can you PM on your experience when you get back. Have a good run. I got to make a decision soon. I have deposit on an XP. I might be backing out though.

You will have to wait with the rest of us.
Do you actually wait until trails are officially open, or until there's enough snow?

Trails will not open until there is enough snow cover, regardless of the date, And I never ride trails when their closed, thats how we as snowmobilers will lose the trail system, no off trail riding unless permitted. I am very active in our local snowmobile club, I brush, stake, and raise money ( club events) as much as I can, I also groom allot, witch I find almost as fun as riding. Last year we had a ton of snow around southern WI, 115 inches or so, I logged over 35-40 hours grooming, I sacrificed allot of riding time so our trails could remain smooth and safe. Allways donate to clubs if you can, better yet join one, why not? its like this forum but no computers, just abunch of snowmobile enthusiest hangin out doing a good thing. Kinda off subject but oh well.
try to get hold of a SE if you want a short track and like the tunnel! The SE has the same tunnel as the RTX.
Edit: i just remembered that the SE is springorder only in the US, here in Sweden its not.

I might point out that it's grooming that starts Dec 1, but riding during the rest of the year is not forbidden, though some gates may still be locked. Even during the deer, gun season it's allowed between 11:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. If you can find a place with enough snow and not be trespassing, have at it. When I have had the snow in November I would just ride road edges and dirt roads. Sadly, It's been since 97 or 98 since there was enough on the ground to ride in November around here (Drummond Island).
