I'm sure sure everyone's head is spinning with all these exhaust systems but snow is coming. Do they honestly make 25 or 30 hp? Maybe a more realistic 10hp and the extra is the result of a overboost? Maybe the AFR changes to be more favorable for that particular test?

How about a test with a aftermarket muffler vs stock with IDENTICAL boost and AFR. Have yet to see that.

We tested mufflers that made 30hp while creating an overboost and lean condition as others have. Thats why the hurricane-hindle exhaust has been created. This system is designed to work on the sidewinder at very close to factory boost and afr. All the while adding 16.1hp. Thats true,rideable hp

Not that I am saying that the horsepower increases isn't true, but if the design and testing can be done in such a short time(few months) why wouldn't Yamaha who designs and test these engines do something as simple as this? They have millions of dollars for R&D.

You better add AFR and boost gauge because overboost and lean are very dangerous on these motors. Just a free flowing muffler can really mess with these and there is no 02 censor on them you have to manually change the map.
