As always Allen, a stunning and masterful job with the photographs and reporting.
I cant thank you enough. I mean the sleds look so much better with your photo presentations than they do on the Yamaha site.

I'll try to take even more pictures today as well of the parts & accessories, etc. I do have a bunch of pictures of the FX Nytro bare chassis (no plastic, just engine, suspension, etc) that I will also post. The new sleds look great in person. 40th Anniversary graphics will be hard to get as they will be VERY limited!
Edit: The page may take a while to load as there is ALOT of pictures on it! Give it some time to load, especially if you don't have a fast internet connection!

Great pics Allen.
What about the hole in the tunnel on the Nytro? Is there still one there?

Not a big fan of that white/red Apex GT...pretty friggen ugly. The all black was way cooler looking.
But hey.. just my opinion.

Grimm, not sure what hole in the tunnel on the Nytro that you're talking about? They did add side panels to help with the snow into the footwells of the Phazers. The exhaust on the Nytro runs under the tunnel until it comes up under the seat.

I like your pics of the 40th anniversary better than the shots on Yamaha's web site.

Oh and did I say that riding the new FX Nytro was AWESOME! I was very impressed by the RS Vector that is now in the Delta II (Apex) chassis as well! Both great improvements and awesome sleds!

In the pics, it looked like there was an opening in the tunnel where the exhaust comes up, just like the Phazers. But I believe you answered my question in your explanation. No snow comes up through there...very good.

Have they done anything different to the idler wheels this year? Or do they look like the same ones (cheap) as before?

Grimm, on the 6 or so demo sleds that I saw in the demo area during the rides there was no noticeable amount of snow coming out of the hole in the back of the tunnel. They have it shielded and designed well in the fact if snow does come out it should just fall off the rear of the sled. From what I gathered the 2008 wheels are the same as the 2007 wheels. If you're having an issue with 2007 wheels be sure to contact your dealer and have them contact Yamaha so that Yamaha sees there is a problem with them.
