Wasn't too keen on riding at all after by big wreck. It took a few years before I got back in the saddle. Spent tons of time away from home with YMCA - last thing I wanted to do when I was home was be away from my girls...
I did a 120 mile shakedown ride last Saturday (buddies Apex MCX 290) that pretty much clinched it - I'm getting back on the snow!! The things I don't like about the boosted Apex (and there aren't many) are not going to be an issue on the Sidewinder.

I am really thinking about snow checking a sidewinder xtx le. I am also very hesitant due to the lack of snow from the last couple years. I only have 550 miles on in 2 years so I dunno. don't really wanna pay for something I'm not going to get to use every other weekend without driving 5 hours to find good snow. I really don't think the price is that unreasonable though like other people are talking about. really debating snow checking or waiting till next winter and buying if we get good snow.

Talked to dealer today, pretty sure LTX DX or LE, trying to decide on colour.Always liked blue, but my red Curve skis would work good with the black version,

My dealer said that we can not snow check until Monday, even though the price are on the site he said that he has not gotten his pricing list yet. I drove over an hour today to go snow check my Sidewinder RTX LE in blue n white and then I get this news, but he took my deposit wrote me up a receipt and he will call me if there are certain options that we can get as snowcheckers that are not announced yet. Has anyone had any information on the incentives we will receive as early buyers?

Wife asked me today if I had ordered one today. After a lot of thought about it here what I told her. I have a 07 Apex with only 6000 miles on it. It is set up just like I want it. For $16000 I can get her a vector ltx with power steering, and get both kids a Phazer since they are both old enough to ride now. Those would all be used sleds, but I bet I would have plenty left to get a good used enclosed trailer.

The 141 is uncoupled - gonna give you more ski lift when you hammer it. Better for the deep stuff.I have snow checked the L-TX-LE in Red/White. Dealer knocked off $1500 so that's a little better at $18000 . What are peoples opinions on 137" vs 141"? We don't have a ton of snow here and its mostly all lake riding. The sled should have tons of speed so just wondering if I should go a little longer. Dealer said I have a couple days to change anything

I want to... But I have to get her a ring first. I'll lose an absolute keeper if I go and buy a new sled. Plus I would probably have to give away my Nytro. Just bought a house too- I think I am screwed this year.

Done deal! Just signed paperwork for XTX 137 LE. Knocked about $1,500 off MSRP with warranty. Next fall can't come quick enough!
