Has anyone else that rides hard in soft snow (mountains, ditches, etc) had any trouble with the inner belly pan (the piece inside the side panel) get into the clutch?
I have had this happen several times and replaced the inner piece and it needs it again. I am NOT bottoming the sled out...however when I land in soft snow ~ the snow pushed this inner piece up into the clutch.
No, I dont have a skid plate and will purchase one if this will help...but not sure it will do any good.
Love the Nytro...a litlle upset with this issue and of course the $200 ROCK handwarmer upgrade requirement.
THanks!

I never had that problem, but I also installed the Yamaha belly pan right away.
If you haven't heard of the "oil filter rub" problem, you should have a look at this.

The front tab for my side panel did get in the primary a couple weeks ago. I was doing quite a bit of jumping in the fresh snow that was 2' deep.

Had that problem once, turned out it was from keeping it on the lift, the lift pushs up on the pan and it causes the pan to form, had to and a crosser on the lift it has been good for 2yrs.
Yes it is a real problem on the Nytros.
The best thing to do is get an older float plate and run it.

Agree...it is a problem! I have gone through two of the inner pieces and am sick of it!! I ride hard...which is why I own their ROUGH TRAIL MACHINE and it doesnt really hold up to well...not to mention this is the 5th sled that the handwarmers still dont work on!
Anyone with any thoughts on how to remedy, please let me know.
