This might be a dumb question but I'm just wondering how you adjust the Soft/Medium/Hard rear suspension setting on an 07 Phazer FX. Thanks for the help.

I am sorry, but that is dumb question. The simple answer is, take the wrench in the tool kit out, put it on the plastic "nut" that is part of the adjuster block and turn it to the desired position.

I'm not to proud to ask a question when I dont know what to do. Thanks for the help though.

No dumb questions. I grew up with a 1971 Ski-Doo TNT and in college bought a 1999 Mxz 670. My roommates were all fairly seasoned riders. I didn't think anyone could get laughed at more in our garage.
The main question lots of times asked is if you need to unload the suspension by hoisting up the rear, you can adjust the blocks with the sled on the ground.

Be prepared for some bloody knuckles when it is turned!Hey Phazertp I will be going through Stockbridge on sled about noon sat.

Use a socket with a long extension to get you outside the running boards. Knuckles will feel a lot better.

The easiest way to change the S-M-H adjuster does not even require a tool...
Have someone hold the sled on it's side or lift up the back end so the weight is off the track. Next, release the torsion spring... this can be done by flipping over the black mount that the torsion spring rides in down at the rail. It's just a black piece of plastic that holds the tip of the spring in place and it will easily pivot upside down. Then, just lift the torsion spring up and over the idler wheel and the back of the spring at the adjuster block is now loose. Change the setting, lift the spring back over the idler wheel and onto the mounting "bracket", flip the bracket back over and you are done. Now, just repeat on the other side... much easier and faster IMO.
