Can't tell you yet, but a new product coming out from Thunder Products will make clutching so much easier....for the novice, for the pro and even the ones who want to leave everything stock.

What I can tell you is orders are in, existing part line-ups are being made currently and I see Thunder Products selling a lot of 911 covers, Gates Carbon Fiber belts and these new products for the Sidewinder.....plus, products for the Viper and other Yamaha snowmobiles.

Going to be a great season coming up and I hear a huge amount of snow coming.

Because the Vendor who I work with....mentioned that I say something, but not let the cat out of the bag of what it is.

It's to show Thunder Products is already working on SideWinder accessories before the sled shows up on showroom floors and to answer questions from people who have been asking (via racetrack, Facebook and private messages) if Thunder Products is making aftermarket products for the SW.

What I can update is that the item is being tested at this moment and will be available at Hay Days.

Now, this post is no different than the sneak peeks that Yamaha puts out before the release date...is it not?

It's just extremely vague Terry. If you want to compare it to what Yamaha does to promote there products, that's fine. It reminds me of that old saying, I could tell you, but I'd have to kill you...lol. I'm sure whatever it is they are coming out with is a top notch product, like there products in the past. Got any "teaser" pics?

Chill out guys. You should be worried about getting snow before busting Terrys chops over mods that you can't even use yet. Hang in there Winter is coming. The products will be here soon just as he said.

Think snow!

I get it, but it reminds me of when you were a kid and someone came up to you and said "I've got a secret." Then when you asked what it was they said "I can't tell you." Frustrating. There's enough rumors on this site frequently. It's not easy to sort through it all to figure out what is plausible and what's b.s. No disrespect Terry. Just giving feedback.
Agreed, we would be better off worrying about when the snow will fly. Carry on.

new ramps and a driven adjuster that helps replace the belt .be gald you got a yamaha ,cats already having problems with the drive clutch on the thunder cat .

Ok guys, now to inform everyone....a new secondary belt removal/adjuster is what I worked on this summer. It was because some of these hardcore snowmobilers that ride just as much as us youngsters....have arthritis, not enough strength to open up the secondary and remove the belt at the same time. Plus, it is a quick adjuster that allows you to get the proper ride height of your belt.....no matter if it's a stock 8JP, an 8DN or Gates Carbon Fiber belt! Plus, you can adjust it with your large winter gloves on because it's larger than it's competitor and little more beefy.

Hay Days was pretty awesome and sold a bunch of the new secondary belt removal/adjusters! :)

Pictures will be up soon!

Here is a picture of the adjuster.

Ok I really like that you have a bolt to screw in to take off the belt! Will this work on vipers? When will it be available to order online? Price?

I bought 2 on Monday! Should have them tomorrow. You have to call, she said product was too new to make it in the catalog or online yet. Can't wait to install them! When I seen it this summer knew I had to have one for each sled. I was putting new belts on last week and it was a PIA to get the belts on and off. These should rock!

Here's an idea, how about incorporating the push bolt and a hex drive for the locking collar in one tool. Like a allen hex wrench with a threaded end.
